I am a young Moroccan photographer based in Casablanca and am passionate about landscape photography and travel! I am a person who loves to explore new cities, for the moment I do a lot of travel around Morocco. Photography is more than a passion for me - it reflects my personality and captures a bit of me within each frame.
I started practicing photography four years ago, after attempting to follow in my fathers footsteps as a painter. I wanted to do something different and made my own way as a photographer, using my artistic vision to capture nature and landscapes, which inspire me on a daily basis.
When I was contacted by 500px Studio for a shoot in Marrakech I was excited and was not sure what to expect. I accepted the shoot before knowing the exact details, which admittedly, was a risk. However, working with 500px Studio has proven to be a great experience and I would do it all again!
What I loved about this Assignment was that everything moved quickly and easily. The quick turn around time was challenging but I embraced the tight deadline - it gave me energy to be more creative. I was able to explore the city of Marrakech in a way I hadn't before, looking through the alleys for bright colours and dynamic compositions. The weather was not on my side during the shoot but the shoot was a success and I appreciated and enjoyed the Assignment.
It was an interesting experience working with 500px Studio, it is a brand and company I've been invested in for a while and I respect their work a lot, I would not hesitate to work with them again and I look forward to future Assignments!
The best advice I can give to photographers is to always do what you love. When you are in a new country or city, take your time to explore it! Stay creative and try out new technical compositions. You don't have to follow the generic rules of composition - rules are made to be broken and it is at this point that creativity flows freely. It is essential to seek out new things and to never stop learning new techniques!
